DVD – TV to release all or nothing?

I say this largely with regard to the blatent dragging corperates DVD releases (* cough * fox * Cough *) do not seem to … There have been many shows where DVD sales have much outstrip the product – to name a Futurama. It just seems sad that the press season are always dragged beyond reason. To name a few examples ramdom … King of the Hill Season 7 – No release date, and frankly does not look good for or at all. Colombo – A 2-year gap between 05/04. South Park Season 10 – 18 months out. The list could go on, my characters could not … In short, I know DVD releases are drawn to create a "demand" for the product, but it sure is stupid (especially in the case of king of the hill) to release a number of seasons and then leave a huge (again KOTH does not look good for more DVD) between sets without any system. Rant over.

Yes that is pretty stupid, we will increase the demand for them to expect, but by the time the release of the series on a new best has started on TV and all that is done by people expect the loss of demand in any case – "Oh, yes can not wait to get the series "a" never going out, I'm not going to buy. "And then when they do release it to the mass audience that the show is no longer entertaining respective are interested.
