borat not joke quotes

Bruno was desperate for love. No, not so. I did not mean "love" Bruno, the real man. I was talking about the movie itself. Not that there's nothing wrong with love man, I just do not … oh, forget it. When Bruno was released in theaters, I could not wait to buy my ticket. After all, it was a new invention of Sacha Baron Cohen, the comic genius who exposed U.S. chewy, center racist in all its glory with the ignorant Borat outrageously funny. So how on earth could Bruno, Cohen large following, not so outrageous and fun? Unfortunately, to my regret, Cohen and other filmmaker has focused much of his creative energy on the scandalous and put up in grace.
The original mission statement of Bruno looked good on paper. It should be as Borat did for homophobia ethnic prejudice. In the film, Cohen, of course, plays the owner of Bruno, another of the many eccentric personalities who created in his sketch comedy program Da Ali G Show. Bruno is an Austrian fashion reporter who, after ruining one of the worlds most fashion shows, premieres with his suit of Velcro, is on the blacklist of the world of style. Being rejected, Bruno decides the only place where can succeed again it is Hollywood. So he went to Hollywood, where he has a swing to be a celebrity. However, it is too easy for the chic fashionista and Bruno meets a few setbacks along the way in their quest for superstar status. Oh, and did I mention that the man is 100% flamboyant gay?
Coincidentally, Bruno was very much all the same creative forces that Borat made. Larry Charles (Religulous) was in charge of the director's chair for the second time and star Sacha Baron Cohen, once again produced the film and co-wrote the script with Anthony Hines and Dan Mazer. So what is this film Borat has no? Bruno What was missing?
Well for starters, the maturity level was reduced to the point that could have sworn he hired a group of 13-year-old children to write some of the gay jokes. I mean, perform a sexual act painfully long deceased Milli Vanilli singer Rob Pilatus Ghost? Come on. I wrong, I am a big fan of humor offensive and immature, but definitely there is a limit to how many times you can use an exercise bicycle equipped with a toy sex before you get older. Yes, you read that right. No more than five minutes into the film, there is a scene in which Bruno and her boyfriend petite Asian "as a sign of love for each other in remarkable fashion. It is a first clue that you're about to see something that is going to lean a little more on the ridiculous side of things.
One of the things that Borat made it so successful was the idea that this character of fiction, everyone assumes it's real, is able to carry out such terrible truths people who know and expose some Americans for what they really are, which in the case of Borat was racist. Just think how amazing it was to listen to a group of drunken college students profess their hatred of foreign immigrants. And although Bruno tried desperately to do this well and capture the harsh reality camera itself was much less shocking to discover that a group of middle-aged men of the South who enjoy hunting does not like being beaten by a gay guy or a group of children income, 40-Swingers some are a little creepy.
I would point out, see how all this has been a negative criticism, which I laughed a little during Bruno. It is shocking, Cohen makes the movie quite entertaining with his balls, has no bar comedy that knows no bounds. I swear that man is not afraid to make any anything for a smile, an attribute that is almost always successful for a comedian. Your Quick One dress shirts with that thick Austrian accent are pretty funny throughout the film. For example, when referring to Brad Pitt as "Bradeth Pittler," priceless.
As DVD extras go, only going to get excited if I liked the movie. Otherwise it's just more of the same. Long deleted, extended and alternate scenes for you to enjoy including the famous scene where the sister of Bruno interviews Michael Jackson, La Toya in new furniture, modern, that is really just illegal immigrants in his hands and knees. She plays along a time until Bruno steals his Blackberry to get the number of Michael. The scene was originally in the theatrical cut of the film, but was withdrawn after tragic death of pop singer.
The bright star of the special features is undoubtedly the commentary track provided by Sacha Barron Cohen and director Larry Charles. More interesting then fun, anyone who ever wondered, "Where are these people" or "Why do you think is fun, "has to do the movie with the commentary.'ll get a revealing look at how Bruno was made and how they did film some of riskier scenes of the movie and why.
One of the many quotes that were sprinkled throughout the DVD cover of Bruno is "more Borat fun. "A more accurate phrase would be" incredibly immature, vulgar and very funny. But definitely not funnier than Borat. "You will laugh while watching Bruno, especially if you're a fan of Sacha Barron Cohen, but buy the time the movie finishes and Bruno is singing a medley with Bono, Sting, Elton John and Chris Martin, during the end credits (honest), you'll definitely want to be laughed some more.
