I have a legitimate question: why does Cambridge seem so much more stuck up than Harvard? I have been to Harvard and it seems like everyone is just ridiculously smart and for the most part not especially wealthy. I keep hearing how everyone in England views Cambridge as the epitome of posh/rah or whatever and it seems a lot different from Harvard.
Does Cambridge just have a ridiculous tuition or only take in private school kids? I know at Harvard money is not really an issue because if you’re smart enough they will just pay your tuition

@magua4 Neither – the tuition is the same as any university in Britain, it’s a complete misconception that it only takes in private schools. The reason that there are more private school kids is just because the standard is so high, and in Britain private schools tend to achieve higher grades etc than state schools. Not always the case though at all – like 57% of people at cambridge went to state schools. Cost is a problem though cos In britain most people get loans as bursaries are rare…
